With the Lunar New Year around the corner, we wanted to know where the mystical energies are pointing travellers this year. Unfortunately, we didn’t get get anywhere with our own rain dance. So sought out the masters. We consulted with Fengshui master Master Seldan to enlighten us on auspicious travel destinations to visit this year based on a Chinese astrology reading. Master Seldan Lim is a metaphysical fengshui management coach and frequent keynote speaker. He tells us the where each of the Chinese horoscope zodiac signs should go this year.

Your inclination to always be around busy environments will draw you to places with lots of people even on your holidays. Those born in the year of the rat should kick back on the scenic beaches of Bintan in the day, and enjoy a party away when night falls.
If you have the luxury of time, meet and mingle with other travelers on an island-hopping itinerary in the amazing culturally rich Caribbean Islands. Put your rat versatility to the test here, discovering the melting pot of African and European cultures and languages.
More of a city person? Then you’ll find Toronto’s frenetic vibe welcoming. Canada’s city perched on the shores of Lake Ontario, is not only full of cultural attractions, it also has a beautiful outdoors to explore and lots of festivals that liven up the city.
