Beijing’s many ski resorts open their doors in December, so you can try your hand at skiing, snowboarding and tobogganing. If you’re lucky enough to receive snowfall while you’re there, head to The Summer Palace for spectacular snow views, and don’t miss the Great Wall for elevated views of snowy landscapes.
